The Spring Market

Spring is the season of artistic renewal and creative awakening, and the Visual Arts Conservatory’s Spring Market embodied that spirit. Held on March 6, Art Marketeers gathered at the Quad during lunch to sell a variety of unique, handmade items. The event reflected the vibrant culture of CSArts-SGV, highlighting innovation and student entrepreneurship while fostering a sense of community.

“I made stickers, paintings, photographs, and prints inspired by nature and local wildlife. I was able to improve my customer service skills and get a firsthand sense of how to provide products that people enjoy,” said senior Carlie Wong.

As funding for art programs continues to decline and society places increasing emphasis on STEM, it is essential to highlight the value of the arts and show support for fellow student artists.

“You could really see a piece of each person in the work they made and understand what they are passionate about. Every booth was special in its own way,” said senior Danica Chen.
