Japanese Exchange Students

こんにちは (Konnichiwa)! You may have noticed the increase in population of students in March. A few weeks ago, Japanese exchange students came to experience what it was like to attend an American arts high school. The students were from various schools in Tokyo, ranging from grades 7-12. The trip was sponsored by EduAbroad, one of the leading study abroad consultants. The students showed interest in programs that were different from Japan’s, hence their decision to come to CSArts.

CSArts students were extremely welcoming to the Japanese exchange students. “We’ve already received amazing feedback from the tour coordinator, and the students indicated they thoroughly enjoyed being here,” Principal of the Arts Dr. Stephen Cook said.

The exchange program for CSArts started three years ago. CSArts has hosted students from both China and Japan, and last year a German student studied here. While there are currently no plans to take CSArts students out of the country during the school year, there are programs like Summer Study Abroad.
