This especially affects teachers with writing-related classes. “AI just isn’t helpful in helping a student develop and hone their creative skills,” said Creative Writing Conservatory Instructor Robert Blair. He says that without the creative aspect of writing it can take the spark and emotion away from writing for many students and teachers.
“A lot of the appeal of creative writing is emotion and helping writers express that, but AI is completely devoid of that,” said Creative Writing student Jessica Pang.
